Chief Technology Officer
The world will generate 160 zettabytes of data in 2025. That's more bytes than there are stars in the observable universe. Conventional storage media like flash-drives and hard-drives do not have the longevity, data density, or cost efficiency to meet the global demand. Catalog is building the world's first DNA-based platform for massive digital data storage.
The company was founded by two MIT scientists in 2016 at IndieBio - San Francisco. Today, with top-tier VC funding and resources at the Harvard Life Lab, we are developing and scaling our technology to meet industry needs.
We are looking for an exceptional technology leader to join us as our Chief Technology Officer. He or she must be someone that is thrilled about the idea of developing DNA as a data storage medium, and have demonstrated interest and success in the following:
- SaaS product architecture
- Coding theory
- Hands-on development skills
- Management of engineering teams
- Presentation in client and investor meetings
The position will challenge you to conquer new problems in an unexplored and groundbreaking field.
