Public Statement of Compliance with the OSTP Nucleic Acid Synthesis Screening Framework
As of July, 2025, CATALOG Technologies affirms that we adhere to the requirements set forth in the OSTP “Framework for Nucleic Acid Synthesis Screening” (September 2024).
As part of our commitment to biosecurity:
— All ligatable sequences in our library of DNA components are screened through the IBBIS Common Mechanism using the most up-to-date risk databases and software version (currently v0.3.2).
— Our screening pipeline ensures detection of Sequences of Concern (SOCs) as defined by the U.S. Government and includes proactive database management to remain current with emerging risks.
— We do not support end-user uploads of biological sequences. All sequence content is fully under our operational control and pre-screened before inclusion in manufacturing runs.
— We maintain detailed audit logs of screening results and component usage history for traceability.
— All internal systems handling sensitive biological information are secured using modern cybersecurity standards.
— We commit to notifying our customers and partners within 72 hours of any lapse in our compliance with this framework.
